Please read these terms carefully as they are a binding legal contract, and we suggest downloading a copy for your records.
By making a payment for the purchase of 1 chapter in the multi-author book ("Book"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions, which constitute a binding legal contract between you and Jessica Verrill, LLC and House of Indigo.

I agree to send my completed chapter and bio to Jessica Verrill, LLC and House of Indigo Publishing by the date specified in email or social media communication. I understand that failure to send my chapter and bio by the date specified in the emails and private Facebook group will result in my chapter no longer being included in the multi-author book and no refund will be given.4. I agree to send my completed chapter and bio to Jessica Verrill, LLC and House of Indigo Publishing by the date specified in email or social media communication. 6. Editing and Revisions:
Contributors understand that the editing process involves collaboration and feedback. Each contributor is entitled to one round of revisions for their submitted chapter. Revisions must be submitted within 3 days of receiving feedback. Failure to meet revision deadlines may result in the chapter being included as-is in the Book.
7. Indemnification:
Contributors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jessica Verrill, LLC and House of Indigo Publishing, including their officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the contributor's chapter or any breach of these terms.
8. Publication Date and Promotion
The anticipated publication date of the Book will be announced at least 2 weeks in advance. Contributors commit to actively participating in promotional efforts, including sharing promotional materials, engaging in media interviews, attending events, and promoting the Book on their respective platforms.
9. Termination and Withdrawal:
Contributors may withdraw from the project by providing written notice to Jessica Verrill, LLC. Withdrawal before submission may result in the forfeit of any payments made. Withdrawal after submission may result in exclusion from the Book, and no refunds will be issued.
10. Collaboration Rights and Credits:
Contributors are encouraged to collaborate on promotional efforts, including joint appearances, interviews, and events. Contributors shall receive appropriate attribution in promotional materials, and their contributions shall be acknowledged in Book-related promotions, as deemed reasonable and appropriate by Jessica Verrill, LLC and House of Indigo.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maine. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts inMaine.
